Klaro - Mission Zero
Klaro, a company best known for its humidors, has announced a new cigar from JRE Tobacco Co.
The company is in the midst of a multi-stage release of Mission Zero, a limited-edition cigar blended by JRE Tobacco Co. It’s offered in a single 6 x 52 torpedo vitola that uses a Cameroon-seed wrapper grown in Honduras, over a Honduran binder and Honduran fillers
The company has leaned into a space theme for this release, specifically the idea that a lit belicoso cigar with its pointed top and orange-colored bottom looks like a rocket. As such, Mission Zero is described like a space mission with Klaro replacing terms like first third, second third, and final third with “liftoff,” “mid orbit,” and “re-entry” in its marketing.
Mission 0 is the inaugural launch from Klaro — a Honduran puro engineered for a smooth yet powerful journey beyond the stratosphere. This cigar was designed to unfold in stages, each one deliberate, balanced, and rewarding. Consider this your pre-flight briefing.
Wrapper: A Honduran-grown Cameroon-seed

Flavors
1st :
The initial puffs of this cigar reveal more of a forward lemon basil, Moro blood orange, and green olive.
A creamy note like of bree, vanilla and nougat sweetness, along with a floral note from danalion, an earthy hint like black walnut and graphite
2nd:
The second third of the cigar offers more baking notes like melba toast, cumin, Silon cinnamon, and balien.

3rd:
The last third has more muted notes like mint, red corn, birch bark, white pepper spice, fig, and cream
The Draw :
I made a straight cut and encountered resistance; I could not get a good draw at first.
After the draw was constant and smooth with no ristance to it, but I do purge a few times.
The Burn :
The burn is consistent and even, but once lit, it does not need to be relit and does have a high smoke output
The Appearance :
The wrapper is smooth, with a slight shine and very little oil.
It is a medium-full cigar with a little nicotine content.
