Doctor’s Orders 2 features a rich, textured Mexican San Andres Maduro leaf, binder, and fillers from Nicaragua. The flavor and strength have been turned up in this exceptional blend. The Cold Draw :

The flavors are of vanilla, ox blood, Mexican chocolate, cayenne, chervelle, marshmallow, sassafras root, blue oyster mushroom, plum, and blood orange

Flavors

1st :

The initial puffs of this cigar reveal a sweet note of marshmallow fluff, caramel, and chocolate ganache.

Earthy notes of gray salt, clay, peat, and red butter lettuce are present, along with notes of washed Colombian coffee, cream of tartar, and chlorine.

2nd:

The second third of the cigar offers a more earthy, forward balance, featuring nettle. Thyme, spelled dough, celery, and salt water. Notes of Pomelo bring a tart note along with a sweetness from Asian pear and blue raspberry candy.

Throughout the cigar, the sweetness of the chocolate ganache is still present.

3rd:

The last third keeps the earthy note throughout, from malt, the peat, and white pepper. Notes of blood orange come back, and the chocolate ganache is present throughout but richer, along with baked dark berries like crowberry and plum.

The Draw :

I did a straight cut and encountered no resistance; It has a great draw with even flow.

After the draw was constant and smooth with no ristance to it, I do purge a few times.

The Burn :

The burn is consistent and even; once lit, it does not need to be relit and does have a medium-high smoke output

The Appearance :

The wrapper is a little rough with the leaf stem protruding, but smooth, with a slight shine and very little oil.

It is a medium-full cigar with a slightly high nicotine content.

Final Thoughts:

This cigar is the second out of the Doctor’s Orders series by Oak Glen Tobacconists. I don't know how the first was, but I can't wait for the third to be released.

I have aged this cigar since I got it and probably will keep aging the others, as this is phenomenal.

That being said, it's a cigar to savor, age, and never let one go to anyone but yourself: It is very smooth, with a high flavor profile and a great chocolate ganache forward note that stays through the whole time. It is dessert in a cigar.
